  2. Agreed, 100% of us kinda regretted and anger after join because of cheated bond scheme. Please don't believe what they said, they will persuade to join them using whatever method. We experienced lot of argument and you definitely be loser and lastly compensate to them. "This also the way they earn money from their staff". How you think?

  3. Agree, you sue to court sure you lose. Bond without any proper training. Late attend to company will deduct your bonus.Read carefully before sign the contract!!!

  4. Interestingly enough, the hatred towards the same company had created a cult following. Never would I have thought to spike a grudge against something so long. How long has it been? 4 years? Yes, you heard me right. FOUR years ... and counting.

The active debate among Alphamaticians is always the same - what's with the RM7000 bond? Upon joining, there's a 2 year lock period where the employee has to dwell. In their defence, the contract is valid because the employee agreed to the terms. Which bags the next question - who would be silly enough to sign a 2 year bond? 'Silly' isn't a fair word. Well, if it is, I'd be tagging myself with sillinest for the entire life. Between the flavours like 'enticed', 'lured', 'tricked', 'cheated', 'screwed' and 'suckered-in', there's bound to be one which fits our story. Still, a contract is a contract. No point crying over spilt milk. But we can still ramble over spilt milk.

The supposedly core benefit for employees is the 2 year training. Which in form becomes the nation's most amazing magic trick. Where is it? As per my memory, I recalled being forced to yet another RM3000 3-month bond for a Microsoft Exchange training conducted internally. One which does not relate to my role, one which was forced upon as the trainer 'happened-to-be-there'. Sure, a bond is still a bond. At least the training did teach us not to use slow virtual machines to conduct a training.

One might also argue that apart from formal training, on-job training is also an expense for the company. Being the sole network engineer at that time says it all. So what sort of lesson attributes as job-training? If the mathematical equation multiples the number with zero, the answer is always zero. Except for the supplier engineer's phone numbers I received when dealing with an alien product. Still, if I wish to swim with sharks in order to swim faster, I would have just jumped into a pool of sharks, not sign a RM7000 bond.

To be fair, I do recall being in a training class during my Alphamatic days - one that I myself was the trainer.

In the end, we, as a cult, do thank Alphamatics for bonding (pun intended) us together. Like the newage saying - friendships are created by those of the same enemy.

  5. Good comments guys!!
My intention of this post is nothing but just to inform the readers to think twice if they really decide to sign bond without regret. For instance, alphamatic systems sdn bhd is one of the worst that i've ever met.

  8. I just received this blog from one of my close friend because my friend just went for an interview from this company Alphamatic. My friend feels very scared after came across this blog and asked my personal opinion of this company because my friend knew that I worked there for a period of 4 years last time. In fact, I can say I had the happiest working life in this company because the environment there is so peaceful and no politic at all. Generally, I have seen many of the staffs work more than 5 years and above, and some even up to 20 years. From my understanding, they are few of them worked there since the day one when they have started their working life since 20 years ago, and never change job until now. To be fair to them, I find that bond is a mutual agreement for both parties. Like me, I didn’t have any experience at all on the specific job which offered by them but the company willing to give me an opportunity to try during that moment. Sometimes, I just think back if not this company has given me a chance, I will never have a chance to learn so much and improve myself. If I did not migrate to another country, I think I should be still one of their staff now, may be worked until I retire next time. In fact, I knew they are many of the staffs resigned and joined back this company. Therefore, if you are considering to join this company, you should give yourself a chance to experience this company.

  13. Better think twice before joining Alphamatic Systems. I am speaking from experience. Worked there for 3 months. Salary was paid late every single month. When I resigned, they withheld my salary for months with no valid reason and when I went to the EPF office I found out that they had never made any contributions and yet they deducted the sum from my pay. That was the last straw. I was left with no choice but to report them to the Labour Office. The officer there said many people have also made similar reports in the past. Alphamatic Systems is the worst IT company I have ever worked for in my entire working career.

    ReplyDelete
  14. ...and you guys better not believe that suspicious post from "Honda Accord" above. He's probably the MD of Alphamatic Systems Mr Peter Thong himself masquerading as someone else and trying to neutralize the many negative comments about his company with a fake post! Yes, they can really go that low. Believe me...

    ReplyDelete
  15. By the way, BOSS Solutions is also affiliated to Alphamatic Systems. If not mistaken both also owned by Peter Thong and his crew.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yes, you are correct. I was with BOSS solutions with a 2 year bond. My colleague went missing and force them to terminate him without paying the bond.
